Thank you for your interest, David Daily is now retired and no longer has any guitars for sale.
Andrew York is a world renowned Classical Guitarist who has been playing Daily Guitars for many years now.
Andy started playing my guitars in the early 90’s. In the time that has passed he has recorded for Sony and Telarc and had a Grammy winning CD (Guitar Heroes). He has become one of the leading composers for the classical guitar, and one of its leading performers. He has concertized around the world in great concert halls to sold out audiences. And he did it all on a Daily.
Handmade Guitars
The luthier’s task is to find the zone of synchronicity where everything works together. This is not alchemy. When it’s happening, it’s happening all over the guitar; low action, low string tension, and great sound. There is a sense of intimacy a player can have with this guitar. There is a tactile feel, in both hands, that lets you know that everything is good. It is like a dance with a beautiful responsive partner. This kind of guitar encourages you to play, and has a beautiful voice across its entire dynamic range. Easy to play. Sounds great.
I have been in the guitar building business for thirty years. The thing that has sustained me through all those years is my love for building guitars. There is a high when you are completing a guitar–carving the neck, hammering the frets, putting on the polish, anticipating a new instrument. There is really nothing like it. I have a lot of my own collections—camera equipment, stereo equipment, lps, boots. And I love holding a new piece in my hands. The beauty of these things can be just stunning. And a guitar is whatever any of that is squared.
“I get nonstop compliments about my David Daily guitar in every competition.”
“The Daily is quite simply the best guitar in the world.”
“The Dailys have superior sustain, clarity, brilliance, and volume –
a combination that is difficult to find in one instrument.”
Buy Now
To buy or order a guitar simply give me a call and let me know: (775) 815-8987.
I require a $2000 down payment on custom builds, due at the time of ordering. I will give an estimate on when the guitar will be done. Right now it would be about six months. I’ll call before I start to make sure I know what you want. I can do anything. Just let me know. When your guitar is about to be completed I will notify you so you can get your money together.
The following is true for both purchases and custom builds. Full payment must be in my bank account before I ship your guitar. I usually ship via USPS for longer routes, UPS for shorter.
If you do not want the guitar after playing it, you can return it. If it hasn’t been damaged I will give a full refund.
