Redwood is a fantastic wood for classical guitar. There is nothing quite like the warmth and beauty of the wood under finish, and of the sound when played. When Andrew York recorded his CD, “Yamour”, the guitar he chose for most of the pieces was an Indian rosewood and redwood guitar.
